Position Overview:

This exciting role offers hands-on experience in designing for a variety of projects, including branding, marketing campaigns, and digital media. As part of our team, you'll play a key role in crafting the visual identity of Omaha Sports and Games.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Portfolio: A standout portfolio showcasing a range of graphic design projects
  • Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field preferred

Preferred Candidates:

  • Passionate about sports
  • Experience designing for sports-related projects or teams
  • Strong typography and layout skills
  • Former college athletes or sports enthusiasts

Work Environment:

  • Team Size: Currently a team of 14, with plans to grow by 7 more within 12 months
  • Culture: Collaborative, fast-paced, and supportive

Responsibilities:

  • Design engaging graphics for print and digital media, including marketing materials, social media, and web content
  • Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to develop creative concepts
  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to bring fresh ideas to the table

Requirements:

  • Academic: Bachelor’s degree preferred, but exceptional experience and portfolio can substitute
  • Work Ethic: Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Skills & Attributes:
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Basic knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects) is a plus
  • Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and layout design
  • Hardworking, detail-oriented, and creative
