Job Description

Savantage Solutions is seeking a Reports Developer to join our technical team. This position will provide on-site support to end users in the operations and reporting for a government IT system.

  Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, creating, and using reports for the user community.
• Develop reports using both SAP BusinessObjects and IBM Cognos Analytics.
• Schedule, maintain and support distribution and access to reports using the COTS reporting products in conjunction with Oracle and Teradata-based data stores.
• Develop and implement procedures to ensure the quality, usability, and accuracy of reports and the underlying data layers.
• Test reports and fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning and testing, and support production applications, as needed.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

  The candidate must have:

• Eligibility for Secret Clearance
• 5+ years of related work experience
• Experience required:

  • Development, Administration, Performance Tuning
  • IBM Cognos Analytics
  • Development, Administration, Performance Tuning
  • SQL-Based Report Development
  • Advanced SQL
  • Oracle Databases
  • Teradata

Education and Certifications:

The candidate must have:

• BA/BS degree

Compensation

$99,000k - $141,000k (based on the National Capital Region)

The pay range for this job level at Savantage Solutions serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. This salary range is based on the National Capital Region and reflects our good faith estimate for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic region or market conditions, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the stated range.
