Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Analyst - Customer Digital Technology , you will deliver key strategic objectives across the company website, mobile app and automated notifications. You will bring a meticulous, organized and methodical approach to ensure secure, accurate and consistent user experiences. What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with teams to analyze requirements, create and execute test cases, report and track quality issues.
  • Work with business partners, product owners and squad members to thoroughly understand the product, workflow, business requirements and software specifications.
  • Plan, write and execute software tests to confirm quality and conformance to requirements and specifications.
  • Help with Acceptance Criteria for such tests but go beyond what is the minimum needed to pass tickets and ensure software produced holistically meets user expectations.
  • Execute not just UX but also API testing as needed, typically done via JSON web service calls.
  • Perform tests to improve quality of software promoted through different stages of development to catch quality issues early.
  • Define and execute regression test plans for product release.
  • Review and respond to situations that users might face and assist in problem analysis and resolution.
  • Create and track user complaints, bugs and nonconformance through records and tracking systems.
  • Actively participate in root cause analysis across system call chains and corrective actions.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and in technical meetings.
  • Research and follow latest security and software trends; perform best-practice research to support team goals.
  • Responsible for other tasks related to assigned systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics preferred or equivalent compelling industry experience
  • 4+ years of software testing experience, preferably web applications or mobile apps
  • Demonstrate a strong willingness to identify, research, and resolve problems
  • Possess strong knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Possess strong general computer, mobile and web application competence
  • Good understanding of web services and how to use tools like Postman
  • Demonstrate knowledge of testing, version control and defect management practices
  • Balance a self-motivated, independent work ethic with intense cross-functional collaboration needed to drive project success
  • Display strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team

This is a hybrid position with an expected schedule of: M, F remote, Tu, W, Th in office
