Estimator – Interior fitout - Retail - Commercial

Location: Garden City, NY

Salary: $150,000-$200,000

Our client, a leading General Contractor in New York City, is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on exciting Interior fitout - Retail and Commercial across New York while contributing to the success of a growing and respected contractor.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for ground-up construction projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate bids
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented
• Review and assess subcontractor proposals and pricing to ensure accuracy and competitiveness

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within a General Contractor environment
• Strong knowledge of Interior fitout and retail construction projects
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple estimates under tight deadlines
• Strong communication and organizational skills
