Bob Ruth Ford is currently looking for a part time evening Receptionist. Our mission is simple: To change the world’s perception of the car dealership experience, one customer at a time. • Two or more years of clerical, cashier or receptionist experience in an office environment
• Prior experience supporting a dealership, independent repair facility, or related operation
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Hours are from 3:00 pm to 07:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30 am to 3:00 pm on Saturdays. Hours may vary.
• A good work ethic, strong organizational skills and a willingness to perform a wide variety of duties as assigned
• A working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and the operation of standard office equipment (multi-line phone, intercom, calculator, fax machine, printer)
• The ability to demonstrate tact, professionalism, and a sense of urgency in a challenging and fast-paced environment which may involve customer complaints, large amounts of money, etc.

JOB DUTIES

This position is responsible for a wide variety of duties in support of a fast paced automobile dealership with Sales, Service, and Parts operations. This involves several overall functions: Receptionist duties- this involves, but is not limited to opening the dealership if on duty at the start of the day; monitoring the telephone, answering and redirecting calls promptly and professionally using the paging system; and closing the dealership if on duty at the end of the day. Cashiering duties- this position also serves as cashier for auto sales, parts, and service operations; handles postage funds and prepares daily mail to be sent out; assists customers with vending machine, Wi-Fi, or other needs; fills out gas slips for employees; and balances the drawer at the end of each shift. (If needed) Clerical duties- the receptionist is also responsible for creating, organizing and maintaining dealership files; processing Citi Ford Card applications; completing dealer tag, loaner vehicle, final sale, and other paperwork; managing the “Good Luck” check machine; creating purchase orders (POs) for vendors; preparing evidence manuals and adjustment receipts; and organizing the various functions which are handled at the front desk. General dealership support- this involves a wide variety of duties performed in support of the dealership. Examples include maintaining “Rapid Recon” records for loaner vehicles; preparing “auto check” history reports for Good Luck and Preowned vehicles; assisting the office staff (or coordinating assistance from the office staff); Tracking, distributing and storing vehicle keys; and performing other duties as assigned.
