As a Garage Door Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of overhead
doors for residential and commercial properties. Your primary goal will be to ensure safe, efficient, and
functional entry systems for our clients. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent technical and
mechanical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install and assemble garage doors, overhead doors, and openers according to sales orders, manufacturer's guidelines, industry standards, and customer specifications
• Ensure that all products and parts needed for scheduled jobs are accounted for and loaded on vehicle prior for departure to job site
• Conduct accurate measurements and assessments of installation sites to ensure proper fit and functioning of the garage doors
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner
• Perform post-installation checks on garage doors, including lubricating moving parts, adjusting springs, and tightening hardware
• Remove and dispose of existing doors, when needed
• Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and equipment necessary for installation and repair tasks
• Help with unloading of deliveries and other warehouse activities, as needed
• Adhere to safety guidelines and always maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Complete necessary paperwork, such as job orders, installation reports, and service tickets, accurately and promptly
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ambitious, inquisitive, helpful, and humble, with a positive attitude
• Outstanding attention to detail and ability to work with precise measurements
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills, including use of power tools and similar equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, bend, and work in various weather conditions
• Willing to work off ladders and lifts at ceilings heights of up to 30 feet
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
