Position: Facilities Security Officer (FSO) Location: Irvine, CA
Pay: 130k - 150k DOE
Requirement: Must have security clearance
ICEYE US, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Facilities Security Officer (FSO) to join our team. The FSO will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of ICEYE US facilities, personnel, and sensitive information. The FSO will work closely with department heads, the security team and the Government Security Committee (GSC) to assess security risks, develop and maintain comprehensive security plans, and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security best practices, risk management, and emergency response procedures. In addition to possessing strong technical skills, the candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, interacting with employees at all levels and collaborating with external agencies when necessary.
Position Summary:
Project manage the process of an established Proxy Agreement (PA) with the DCSA.
Implement security measures to safeguard personnel, facilities, and information, adhering to the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs), and other relevant regulations.
Manage and communicate insider threat and cyber security threats as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official.
Ensure adherence to all relevant security regulations, including NISPOM Rule (National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual), ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations), and other applicable standards.
Manage the processing of Prime and Sub DD254s.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date security documentation, including security clearance records, incident reports, and audit logs.
Monitor and control access to the facility at all entry points to prevent unauthorized entry.
Process outgoing visit requests and validate incoming visit requests. Escort uncleared personnel or visitors.
Prepare and submit security reports to government agencies and company leadership as required.
Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, providing immediate assistance and support as needed.
Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches and incidents, documenting findings and recommending improvements.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to security.
Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services during security events or drills.
Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as government customers, oversight authorities (e.g., DCSA, IC SSOs and AOs), and accreditation inspections.
Provide security awareness training sessions for employees and staff to enhance overall security posture.
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in CPSO/FSO roles, with a focus on IC and DoD programs
Active FSO certification.
Managed and implemented the NISP for a FOCI Mitigated facility.
Hands-on experience with security databases such as DISS, NBIS, NISS, and Scattered Castles.
In-depth knowledge of NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117) and ICDs.
Familiarity with Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and the ability to integrate ICD requirements into a comprehensive security program.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse individuals and teams.
Familiarity with surveillance systems, access control systems, and security technology.
Strong writing skills, including experience developing SOP manuals, procedures and OPSEC plans.
