Job Summary:

Oversees warehouse staff within the distribution center, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and relevant laws. Manages, plans, and coordinates all activities within the designated area of responsibility. Handles personnel management tasks such as hiring, training, performance evaluation, and compensation.

Job Duties:

• Retrieve and organize orders from the warehouse based on part number and quantity, following the priorities specified in picking tickets. Orders may include customer orders, internal transfers, or returns (such as excess or vendor returns).
• Develops comprehensive scheduling timelines to ensure that all inbound and outbound shipments comply with specifications.
• Assesses and provides recommendations on the necessary labor requirements.
• Adjusts workforce levels and overtime as needed to adapt to changing conditions.
• Identifies and resolves work-related issues for employees
• Follows all safety procedures while carrying out job responsibilities.
• Collaborates with other supervisors and managers to coordinate departmental activities.
• Participate in the annual physical inventory
• Assist with inventory control processes and procedures

Professional Experience

• 3+ years of warehouse leadership experience is required
• Strong communication skills and leadership skills

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred

Computer Skills

• WMS experience
• Ability to utilize databases and spreadsheets

Work Environment

• Large open environment
• Requires regular standing, walking, and sitting. Occasionally involves lifting, lowering, and carrying parts weighing up to 60lbs.
