Job Description

Cymbiotika is seeking a Personal Brand Manager to join our dynamic Operations team. The ideal candidate will be a creative and detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support our marketing efforts.This person will create narratives that guide a brand story. The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of Marketing and PR functions, as well as positive relationships with media professionals in our industry and community.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media and paid advertising for COO
  • Support the planning and execution of events, including activations, award shows, and podcast debuts for COO
  • Pitch new ideas and remain up to date with trends and opportunities for COO
  • Write timely press releases and media kits and help establish strategies for COO
  • Manage the COO social media account by creating and scheduling content, responding to comments, and tracking performance metrics
  • Develop media relations strategy focused on high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online channels to increase personal brand visibility
  • Build connections with key media organizations and journalists through a mix of traditional, digital, and social channels
  • Ensure that our PR efforts serve immediate and long-term brand goals
  • Forecast news cycles and identify areas of trending public interest
  • Understand the competitor landscape
  • Establish a media relations plan that has actionable strategies for high-level placement
  • Create visually appealing and on brand graphics for COO’s marketing initiatives.
  • Handle administrative and personal tasks, such as scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, liaising between different teams or individuals for social media content creation, travel arrangements, creating, editing, and organizing documents, presentations, and spreadsheets related to marketing plans, travel arrangements and expenses, and appointment management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in public relations, marketing, or advertising
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing / PR, preferably in a fast paced e-commerce environment
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Deep knowledge of traditional, digital, and social media channels
  • Established relationships with media organizations and journalists
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and social media management tools
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and independently when needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
