Eastern Metal Supply is a national distributor of custom and standard aluminum extrusions and sheet products. With over 30 years in the metals industry, we have earned a reputation throughout the United States as a first-class supplier of quality aluminum products. We have a vast product line: storm panels, marine extrusions and accessories, patio enclosures, hand railing, and aluminum extrusions. We are currently seeking a seasoned manager for our facility in Lake Worth, Florida.

Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Manager position:

• Manage operations pertaining to receiving, order fulfillment and loading and shipping of product in a safe, secure and accurate manner.
• Manage transportation and delivery of customer orders.
• Direct supervision across multiple shift operation and assign tasks to employees. Must ensure tasks are completed to exceed customer expectations.
• Order and monitor supplies.
• Ensure inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA policies and ensure facility is operated in a safe manner.
• Participate in budget planning and operate within budgeted expenses.
• Ability to identify areas in need of process improvements and implement in a positive manner.
• Establish operational goals and establish measurements to enhance productivity, efficiency and accuracy.
• Responsible for maintenance of facility and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe and positive work environment

Requirements

Preferred Qualification and Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent and strong warehouse management background with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a management or supervisory role. College degree a plus.
• Ability to organize, plan and prioritize duties.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to use these skills to communicate with all levels within the organization.
• Self-directed and the ability to make decisions using sound business judgment, analytical skills and people management experience.
• Experience in management over a multiple shift operation.
• A hands-on management style. Comfortable in the role of a coach and mentor with the ability to hold people accountable. Team approach.
• Customer service focused.
• Some experience in fabrication / manufacturing a plus.
