Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.Shift Differentials: $4.00 for evenings and nights, additional $4.25 for weekends (stackable)UltraSonographer Schedule:7 on, 7 off: 12-hour day shiftsUltrasound Tech / Sonographer Job Description:In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Sonographer is responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic images. Assists radiologist with interpretation of ultrasound images. Exhibits our Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times.Ultrasound / Sonographer Job Functions:Operates the ultrasound equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images utilizing the scope of practice for diagnostic medical sonographer as defined by SDMS and in compliance with the Ohio Department of Health rules and regulations.Provides a sonographer's impression.Maintains adequate stock of supplies by checking inventory regularly.Assists with the rotation of diagnostic imaging students (Radiology, Ultrasound, etc.) in the general Ultrasound Department.Other duties as assigned by the Director of Diagnostic Imaging or Radiology Supervisor (scheduling patients in conjunction with Stress Lab and Outpatient Scheduling departments; taking call for the department of a rotational basis; train new employees).75% attendance at monthly department meetings (9/year).Enter orders correctly.Properly utilizes multiple computer systems (Meditech, Chartmaxx, and iSite).Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer Qualifications:Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiology Technology program required.Sonography certification preferred.Must be efficient in manipulating the ultrasound equipment and can accurately produce expected quality of images required.BLS certification required.Benefits Include:Sign on BonusesRelocation AssistanceBase pay can increase depending on benefit plan selection, +$3.00 if you waive benefits (with proof of coverage) or +$1.00 if you opt for the Basic PlanAnnual performance and market pay increases403(b) with employer matchPension plan with employer matchEducation Assistance / Tuition ReimbursementPublic Student Loan Forgiveness PlanLoan Repayment optionsNo-cost Employee Wellness Center and Employee Assistance ProgramFree confidential counseling and legal supportAnd much more!APPLY NOW TO LEARN MORE!
