Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for booking travel and lodging arrangements for our team of travel doctors. Your primary focus will be on ensuring accuracy in dates and spelling to book travel arrangements correctly. Additionally, you will communicate professionally with doctors and negotiate deals with hotels to secure optimal accommodations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate travel arrangements for travel doctors including flights, ground transportation, and lodging.
• Ensure accuracy in booking details, paying close attention to dates, times, and spelling to avoid any errors.
• Communicate with doctors in a professional manner to understand their travel preferences and requirements.
• Research and negotiate deals with hotels to secure favorable rates and accommodations for travel doctors.
• Manage booking confirmations, itineraries, and travel documents for each trip.
• Stay updated on travel regulations, restrictions, and requirements, particularly related to medical professionals.
• Address any travel-related issues or emergencies that may arise during trips, providing timely assistance and solutions.
• Maintain organized records of travel bookings, expenses, and communications with doctors and travel vendors.
• Collaborate with other team members, such as administrative staff and travel agencies, to streamline travel processes and improve efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service to travel doctors, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their travels.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to accurately manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with doctors and negotiate effectively with hotel representatives.
• Proficiency in using booking platforms and travel management software/tools.
• Knowledge of travel industry trends, best practices, and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and travel requirements.
