Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for the effective management and execution of all designated tasks and project assignments across a District or Region. This role involves assisting and, in some cases, leading project teams in tracking, reporting, and managing project budgets, schedules, and deliverables. The Project Manager ensures that all cross-functional project team requirements are coordinated and completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Monitor and Report KPIs :
  • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to project deliverables and workflows.
  • Measure operational performance, identify, and assess opportunities to improve process efficiencies and performance.
  1. Project Support :
  • Provide support across multiple projects and teams to ensure execution of project tasks and deliverables are being tracked with high accuracy.
  • Ensure timely reporting and schedule adherence for all projects.
  1. Project Management :
  • Manage small-scale projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate all project activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
  • Develop, maintain, and modify project plans as needed.
  • Lead project closeout by ensuring receipt of all required documentation.
  1. Attend and Lead Project Meetings :
  • Attend and contribute to project meetings, providing comprehensive job status reports.
  • Address and resolve conflicts or issues that arise during project execution.
  1. Reporting and Issue Management :
  • Communicate issues that may impact project completion or costs to Crown Castle leadership and cross-functional team members.
  • Ensure that project teams are aware of critical project issues and timelines.
  1. Documentation and Compliance :
  • Responsible for obtaining and maintaining all requisite documents related to the projects.
  • Ensure proper documentation of permits, contracts, agreements, and regulatory compliance as required.
  1. Vendor Management :
  • Manage vendors as applicable, ensuring they meet performance and delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve issues or delays.
  1. Cross-functional Coordination :
  • Lead internal and external deployment meetings with the project team and interact with applicable Crown Castle teams.
  • Foster collaboration among internal departments, external stakeholders, and vendors.

Education/Certifications :

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • A two (2) year technical degree is preferred.

Experience/Minimum Requirements :

  • A minimum of two (2) years of related experience in project coordination or project management.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous customer-facing project coordination experience is preferred.

Other Skills/Abilities :

  • Telecommunications/Wireless Knowledge : Familiarity with wireless project management, asset management, site acquisition, and regulatory processes.
  • Site Acquisition & Deployment : Knowledge of public and private right-of-way project deployment, site acquisition procedures, and permitting processes.
  • Financial Management : Ability to interpret and manage financial metrics, including project budgeting and cost control.
  • Problem-Solving : Skilled in identifying workflow issues, critical paths, and implementing solutions to address challenges.

Additional Skills :

  • Ability to manage and process multiple data streams efficiently.
  • Experience in diagnosing workflow problems and implementing necessary remedies.
