Part-Time
A Special Education Teacher Assistant/Office Assistant, Pathways Charter School is responsible to the County Superintendent and works under the direct supervision of the designated manager(s). The Special Education Teacher Assistant/Office Assistant, Pathways Charter School assists general and special education students and provides clerical and general office assistance.
-Must currently have or must obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of employment.
-Must possess a typing certificate for 40 net wpm issued within the last two years. - Previous general office assistance preferred.
- Experience working with elementary-ages students. Pursuant to current Ed. Code 45330, this position requires one of the following to qualify for the position:
1. Completion of 60 Semester Units (2 years of study) at an institution of higher education
2. Possession of an Associate's Degree or Higher
3. Passing of a local assessment in Reading/Writing and Mathematics (which will be conducted on the day of the interview)
a. Math knowledge will consist of basic fractions, percentages, word problems, etc.. (equal to that of a high school student requirement)
b. Reading/Writing will consist of comprehension, proper language, etc (equal to that of a high school student requirement)
Applicants may be tested.
If hired, must provide proof of a valid California Driver's License
