We are a rapidly growing organization in the NYC area. We are seeking to hire a Sourcing Coordinator to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sourcing Coordinator with a strong background in procurement, preferably within the textile or consumer products industry. The ideal candidate is experienced in working with big box retailers, demonstrates excellent negotiation and communication skills, and can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Experience working with overseas vendors or international supply chains is highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the sourcing and procurement of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring quality, price, and lead times align with company standards.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
• Support vendor onboarding and maintain supplier databases and records.
• Collaborate with design, production, and planning teams to understand sourcing needs and project timelines.
• Manage purchase orders, pricing sheets, and sample tracking with attention to detail.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times with both domestic and international suppliers.
• Prioritize and pivot as needed to address urgent sourcing requirements or changes in project scope.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and retailer-specific standards, especially for big box retailers.
• Monitor market trends and support cost-saving and efficiency initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Textiles, or a related field.
• 3+ years of procurement or sourcing experience, ideally in textiles or consumer products.
• Proven experience working with international suppliers and big box retailers.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally as required.
