Job Title: Senior SAP Financials (FICO) Consultant with Food - Retail industry

Location: Edison, NJ (Hybrid)

Duration: Long term

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Senior SAP Financials (FICO) Consultant in the Food-Retail industry at TechProjects. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing financial processes, implementing SAP FICO solutions, optimizing business processes, and managing accounting functions. This customer location is at Edison, NJ - Mostly remote work but onsite client visits may required ( 20% travel). Preference is given to Local NJ

Technical Skills:

1.SAP FICO Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
• Experience with integration of FICO with other SAP modules (SD, MM, WM, etc.).

2.Knowledge of Retail Industry Processes:

• Understanding of retail-specific financial processes, including sales forecasting, inventory management, and cost accounting.
• Familiarity with retail-specific metrics and KPIs.

3.Customization and Configuration:

• Ability to configure SAP FICO modules to meet specific business needs.
• Experience in system enhancements and working with ABAP developers for custom reports.

4.Data Migration and Reporting:

• Proficiency in data migration strategies and tools (e.g., LSMW, BAPIs).
• Strong skills in financial reporting, including financial statements and management reporting.

5.SAP S/4HANA Knowledge:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, especially in new functionalities related to finance.

Soft Skills:

• Analytical Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess and improve financial processes.

2.Communication:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders, team members, and clients.

3.Project Management:

• Experience managing or leading projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and meeting deadlines.

4.Business Acumen:

• Strong understanding of business fundamentals in the retail food sector, including supply chain, procurement, and sales operations.

5.Training and Support:

• Ability to train end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure effective use of the SAP FICO system.

Certifications (Optional but Beneficial):

• SAP Certified Application Associate in Financial Accounting and Reporting.
• Additional certifications in project management (like PMP) or relevant methodologies (like Agile).
