Job Overview:
A respected law firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join its Labor & Employment Litigation Practice in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment litigation, including both single-plaintiff matters and complex wage and hour class actions. Location:

  • Los Angeles, California

Duties:

  • Handle a wide range of employment litigation matters, including single-plaintiff and wage and hour class actions

  • Manage cases independently, serving as the primary contact for clients

  • Supervise and mentor junior associates and support staff

  • Conduct legal research and draft high-quality motions, pleadings, and briefs

  • Oversee all stages of litigation, including discovery and depositions

  • Apply knowledge of Federal Court Rules and e-Discovery practices

  • Contribute to the strategic development of the Labor & Employment practice

  • Provide occasional employment advice and counseling as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of employment litigation experience

  • Experience managing multiple cases and leading litigation teams

  • Proven courtroom and deposition experience

  • Familiarity with federal procedural rules and e-discovery

  • Demonstrated project management and client-facing capabilities

  • Strong interest in business development and growing a practice

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally accredited law school

  • Strong academic performance required

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in California

Skills:

  • Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills

  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities

  • Ability to handle complex litigation independently

  • Effective client communication and interpersonal skills
