Job Description

Do you understand the processes and stages of residential construction and a passion for new residential Construction? Centra Homes is looking for a residential construction project manager to join our team and we are willing to train the right candidate. This could be the perfect opportunity to broaden your skills and experience in residential construction. We are looking for a motivated, self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, personal accountability and a positive work attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and enforce trade partner adherence to schedules 
  • Ensure products and workmanship meet established quality standards
  • Perform Quality Assurance inspections throughout the construction process
  • Work closely with sales staff to manage community activity and communication
  • Deliver defect-free homes to our customers
  • Perform customer Home Orientation walk throughs
  • Manage to home/project budgets and issue Variance purchase orders as required
  • Customer service/warranty management within assigned communities
  • Manage community SWPPP compliance
  • Community appearance management
  • Construction status reporting

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years of field management experience in the construction industry
  • Understanding of the processes and stages of residential construction
  • Ability to build exceptional relationships with contractors, suppliers and coworkers
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and permitting
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Comfortable working with technology. Construction software, excel, google suite, etc.
