Project Manager - Land Development Civil Engineer (PE Required)

We manage the full lifecycle of real estate-from acquisition and entitlement through design, construction, and asset management.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a Professional Engineer (PE) license and a strong background in Land Development Civil Engineering. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who can lead complex development projects from concept through completion, while managing multidisciplinary teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and report to the designated Project Executive.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of land development projects, ensuring alignment with client goals, budgets, and timelines.
  • Oversee the selection and management of project team members, including consultants and sub-consultants.
  • Administer contracts, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with project charters and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes.
  • Guide the entitlement and permitting process, working closely with local agencies and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports, technical documentation, and client presentations.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with clients, internal teams, and external partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in land development, with a strong portfolio of completed commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and complex project scopes.
  • Deep understanding of site design, grading, drainage, utility planning, and permitting processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project); experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and BIM tools is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation

$160K- $200K

Desired Skills and Experience
