Job Title: Project Manager

Duration: 1 year contract, potential for extension

Compensation Range: $65-$80/hr

Join the project management team to support a major upgrade to their consumer products licensing management system. This hybrid role based in Burbank, CA, requires a strategic, proactive, and highly communicative project manager who thrives in Agile and Waterfall environments.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional projects and timelines using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Drive updates for consumer product licensing platform upgrades
• Partner with Product Management on planning, discovery, design, and deployment phases
• Lead team meetings, report progress, and escalate risks or blockers
• Create and maintain visibility using tools like Monday.com or Atlassian suite
• Present project updates to stakeholders at all levels
• Oversee project estimations, technical direction, and cost advocacy
• Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement

Must-haves

• 5+ years as a Project Manager in technology or business application settings
• Experience with Monday.com or Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)
• 5+ years presenting to stakeholders across business levels
• 3+ years managing consumer product licensing projects

Soft skills

• Clear communicator with executive presence
• Ability to lead meetings, resolve blockers, and navigate ambiguity
• Strong collaboration and cross-team coordination

Nice-to-haves

• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and iterative release cycles
• Knowledge of content management, production, and finance workflows
• Media & entertainment industry experience
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central)
• Snowflake data warehouse exposure
