Job Title: Procurement Analyst

Position Overview

A dynamic and growing organization is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join its collaborative and performance-driven team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in procurement and finance who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing purchasing activities while supporting budgeting, reporting, and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Management: Identify, assess, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Procurement Operations: Oversee the full procurement cycle from requisition to fulfillment, including issuing purchase orders, managing contracts, and conducting vendor negotiations.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the development and monitoring of departmental budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Inventory Oversight: Track inventory levels and coordinate material replenishment to prevent stock shortages and maintain production continuity.
  • Cost Optimization: Perform detailed cost analyses and market research to uncover savings opportunities and enhance procurement strategies.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to procurement and financial workflows to improve operational efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and accounting standards, including GAAP.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in a procurement, finance, or accounting position, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP systems (experience with NetSuite is a plus). Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Core Competencies: Strong analytical abilities, effective communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach to task execution.
