Vertex Education is looking to expand its School Compliance Team by hiring a PIMS Specialist. The PIMS Specialist will be largely responsible for the management, upkeep, and reporting for the Pennsylvania Information Management System (PIMS). Other specific areas of responsibility include:

  • Support the School Compliance Team personnel.
  • Effective and timely communication with clients and internal team members on projects and deadlines.
  • Complete all reporting per established deadlines (internal and external).
  • Develop and manage processes and tools utilized for data project management.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate the collection, processing, compilation, and summarization of data.
  • Reviewing/editing data submissions for completeness, accuracy and reasonableness.
  • Explaining education data requirements, definitions, and reporting procedures both internally and externally.

Qualifications:

  • No PIMS-related experience is required but must be willing to undergo training.
  • Ability to handle interruptions and work on multiple projects.
  • Ability to meet established turnaround times and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail is a must.
  • Proficient excel skills, i.e., v/x lookup, conditional formatting, and filtering multiple data fields.
