Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 per year
A bit about us: As a Permanent Physician Assistant in the Healthcare industry, you will play a pivotal role in the overall care and well-being of patients battling substance abuse and addiction. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in patients' lives by providing high-quality healthcare services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support to our physicians, conducting comprehensive assessments, managing detoxification processes, and treating patients with substance abuse issues. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

1-year clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting preferred
Current Physician Assistant full and unrestricted licensure in the state of practice and active state DEA License required.
PA with Psych Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) preferred.
BLS from the American Heart Association required.
Job Details Responsibilities:
1. Assist physicians in the medical management and treatment of patients with substance abuse issues and addictions.
2. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to understand their medical history, addiction severity, and overall health condition.
3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' specific needs and goals.
4. Monitor patients during detoxification processes, ensuring their safety and comfort.
5. Provide patient education on addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention strategies.
6. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients.
7. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
8. Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of addiction medicine and incorporate them into patient care when appropriate.
