Description :
Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, and according to standard procedure, the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor is responsible for developing and planning the nonprofessional operations of the department. This can include, but is not limited to, coordinating procurement, workflow, processes and services related to drug, equipment, and supplies. They collaborate within their facility and across the system as necessary for medication ordering, inventory management, medication distribution, auditing, and record keeping, ensuring that all regulatory standards are met and maintained. In addition, they maintain an active technician certification and the competency to be able to assist in times of extreme technician shortage or emergency.
