Job Title: Project Superintendent – Studio Construction

Location: Nashville, TN (local candidates only)

Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee a large studio construction project in Nashville, TN . This is a fixed-term, single-project role , focused exclusively on one site from project kickoff through completion. Unlike other superintendent roles, this position requires little to no travel and is ideal for a professional who prefers to remain local and see a major project through from start to finish.

The Superintendent will be responsible for day-to-day field leadership , coordination of subcontractors and trades, schedule execution, safety compliance, and quality control on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site leadership and supervision for all construction activities
• Coordinate daily work plans with project management and subcontractors
• Enforce jobsite safety standards , site rules, and compliance requirements
• Manage schedules, sequencing, and manpower to maintain project timelines
• Oversee quality control and ensure work meets plans, specifications, and standards
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for field operations
• Participate in progress meetings and communicate field updates to leadership
• Maintain daily reports, site documentation, and coordination logs

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Superintendent on large commercial or studio construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and trade coordination
• Ability to lead crews, manage subcontractors, and resolve on-site issues
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must reside in or near Nashville, TN

Tools & PPE

• Must provide all standard hand tools
• Required PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, work boots, high-visibility vest

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rate, anticipated range $30–$40/hour , depending on experience
• (Exceptional candidates with extensive experience may be considered above range)
