Job Description

We seek a skilled and motivated Paramedic to join our healthcare team, specializing in IV infusion and blood drawing. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our medical staff by performing various clinical and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
  • Obtain and record vital signs, medical history, and other patient information
  • Perform IV infusion and phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples for testing and analysis
  • Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
  • Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care
  • Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other diagnostic tests
  • Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health records (EHR) system
  • Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication instructions
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of paramedic training program and certification
  • Current certification as a Paramedic
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment
  • CPR certification is preferred

Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is not required.
