Job Title: Packaging Supervisor

📍 Location: Livermore, CA

🕒 Shift: Swing shift preferred; day shift available

💼 Employment Type: Full-time | Exempt

💰 Salary Range: $68,000 – $80,000 annually

About the Role:

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for production excellence and team development? We’re seeking a Packaging Supervisor to oversee packaging operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring production efficiency, quality control, and compliance with safety and food standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily packaging operations and personnel
• Implement and maintain production schedules to meet output goals
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and food safety standards (HACCP, SQF, etc.)
• Train, develop, and evaluate team members; manage performance and discipline
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance as needed
• Maintain inventory of packaging components and ensure line readiness
• Collaborate with Quality and Customer Service teams to meet client expectations
• Monitor and report on production metrics and labor efficiency

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or packaging
• Familiarity with quality systems (SQF, HACCP, Kosher, Organic)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP software
• Bilingual and forklift certification are a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, kneeling, and climbing
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
• Use of protective gear required (gloves, masks, hairnets, etc.)
