What will be your daily pursuit?: Your daily pursuit helping our guests make memories, whether by suggesting the perfect fly choice or suggesting a great spot to hit the river!
What will your compensation be?: $14.50/hour
When does this adventure begin?: This role is posted for our spring/summer 2025 season!
What will you do in this job?:
• Discuss details, handle bookings and check-ins for rentals, self-guided trips, and fishing school services
• Keep rental watercraft clean and organized
• Provide guests with knowledgeable gear suggestions
• Provide guests with hiking tips and other information about trails in Glacier NP and the surrounding area
• Use working knowledge of fly fishing methods, techniques, and gear to provide a great guest experience
• Engage guests - assist with selection and advice in choosing products and information about the Park
• Shop cleanliness - sweep, mop, dust and trash
• Daily task such as receiving, stocking, and merchandising
• Handle cash and credit transactions, as well as deposits
• Help your teammates
• Provide Self-Guided service to guest
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
• Previous outdoor retail experience preferred but not required - we are happy to train!
• Knowledge about rafting and rafts is preferred but not required
• Work ethic and commitment to teammates and guests
• Be willing and able to work alone or as part of a larger team
• Be organized with a great eye for detail
• Be kind to others and always bring your best
• Be are a good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions
• Be helpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mile
• Be relaxed, flexible and able to handle a few curve balls
• Be ready to have fun
• Valid U.S Drivers License
• Comfortable operating a company vehicle
• Comfortable transporting guests
• Ability to lift 50lbs on a daily basis
