JOB SUMMARY:

The IT Field Engineersresponsibilities include ensuring the organizationreceives fast professional and technically accurate onsite resolution of Windows desktop local area networkand basic information technology issues.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical support for hospital staff and users addressing ITrelated issues and inquiries specific to mental health care systems and software.
• Install configure and maintain computer systems software and applications within the mental health hospital environment.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure ensuring efficient and secure connectivity to support mental health care operations.
• Update resolve and close service tickets by quickly responding to and resolving both onsite and remote management and monitoring systemreported technology issues.
• Provide installation troubleshooting and support for advanced networking issues VPNs and Windows desktop operating systems client software programs and applications.
• Create new user accounts administer user rights and privileges and reset user passwords using Windows servers.
• Comply with all organization business policies workflow processes and documentation practices.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Advanced working knowledge of computer networking technologies aboveaverage working knowledge of all modern Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems and familiarity administering basic Windows server functions.
• Advanced proficiency administering Microsoft Office productivity suites.
• Advanced knowledge administering common (Cisco SonicWall Fortinet etc.) routers.
• Advanced working knowledge of networking (HP and Cisco Switch Configurations VLAN VPN NAT Routing Wireless).
• Competent in desktop and workstation setup cable creation and general hardware support.
• Competent in Exchange SQL StorageCraft SAN Citrix VMware HyperV O365 Azure Active Directory Group Policy and other MS Cloud and Hosted Solutions.
• Associates Degree or better in a related field is preferred.
• Two years of experience fulfilling help desk responsibilities and supporting Windows desktops business applications and end users.
