🔹 Job Overview:
We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)/Medical Technologist (MT) with Blood Bank experience for a direct-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will perform clinical lab procedures, quality assurance, and instrument maintenance while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in testing.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Conduct routine & specialty lab tests (blood bank, immunology, microbiology, hematology, chemistry, microscopy)
✅ Handle & analyze specimens (blood, urine, bodily fluids)
✅ Maintain and operate lab equipment (Ortho Vison, Well Sky Software, EPIC)
✅ Collaborate with phlebotomists, clerical staff & lab supervisors
🔹 Requirements:
🎓 Bachelor's in MT, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field
📌 ASCP Certification (MT/MLS) – Required
🩸 2+ years of hospital laboratory experience (Must include Blood Bank experience)
💻 Proficiency in computer systems (EPIC, spreadsheets, database, email)
🔹 Additional Info:
👕 Dress Code: Scrubs (any color, must be clean)
🏫 Training: EPIC training in a classroom setting + additional Lab training as needed
