Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Philadelphia. This role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure minimal downtime and safe operations. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment and a strong mechanical and/or electrical background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Repair and replace parts and components as needed to restore functionality
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and work with production to minimize disruptions
  • Assist in equipment installations and modifications
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with other departments to support production goals

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or trade school training preferred
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with PLCs, conveyors, pumps, and HVAC systems a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions (e.g., heights, confined spaces, temperature fluctuations)

Work Environment:

Industrial/manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, moving parts, noise, and varying temperatures. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
