Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join a prominent organization within the semiconductor industry in San Jose, CA. The Supervisor will oversee a team of 9 responsible for sustaining the production equipment at their San Jose location. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.

Job Overview:

• This role involves working closely with technicians, assisting with repairs, and serving as the senior escalation point for technical issues.
• The San Jose location contains legacy equipment, requiring someone with experience in creating custom solutions for unsupported tools.
• Solutions may include fabricating new parts, sourcing second-hand components, or researching online resources to resolve issues.
• The supervisor will ensure the team meets weekly and quarterly goals, track completion of preventative maintenance tasks, and regularly communicate updates to senior leadership.

• The supervisor will be onsite Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM to support both shifts.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in a supervisory position
• 6+ years of experience leading a maintenance team within a high volume production environment
• Must be a subject matter expert with equipment that is managed by Programmable Logic Controller's (PLC)
• Experience resolving challenging escalations and educating team members on best practices to grow their skillset

Compensation:

$100k to $125k annually

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
