Lead Sales Representative

As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for a Head of Sales and Account Management to lead and shape the strategy for driving revenue growth and nurturing strong customer relationships. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee sales initiatives, account management, and customer success to enhance our market presence and build lasting partnerships. You will also ensure that our sales and account management strategies align with our mission and values while fostering trust and loyalty among our customers.

As the Head of Sales and Account Management, you will guide the sales and account management teams in achieving ambitious revenue goals, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role requires a strategic leader with expertise in sales, account management, and relationship-building, combined with a results-driven approach and a passion for sustainability.

This is a full-time, onsite position based at our facility in Estacada, OR.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives revenue growth. Oversee sales planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Account Management: cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners. Ensure consistent communication and exceptional service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and channels to expand revenue streams. Develop strategies for upselling, cross-selling, and customer retention.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing sales and account management team. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Use insights to refine sales and account management strategies.
  • Partnership Development: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with distributors, retailers, and other stakeholders to expand the reach and impact of our products.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sales and account management efforts. Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and achieve goals.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the sales and account management budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to high-impact initiatives.
  • Customer Success: Collaborate with the customer support team to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all sales and account management activities comply with regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines.

  • Revenue Growth: Achieve or exceed revenue targets through effective sales strategies and execution.
  • Customer Retention: Track customer retention rates and satisfaction levels to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Market Expansion: Measure success in entering new markets, channels, or customer segments.
  • Account Growth: Monitor the growth of existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Team Development: Foster team development, ensuring the sales and account management teams are engaged, motivated, and continuously learning.
  • Budget Adherence: Successfully manage and allocate the sales and account management budget, meeting financial targets and resource needs.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales and account management within the wellness, food, or related industries, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams, with strong coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills.
  • Sales Expertise: Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies, with a track record of achieving revenue goals and expanding market presence.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Sustainability Focus: Passion for sustainability and experience incorporating environmentally responsible practices into sales and account management efforts.
  • Project Management: Strong project management capabilities, with a track record of managing multiple initiatives and meeting deadlines.
  • Data-Driven: Proficiency in analyzing metrics and using data-driven insights to refine strategies and measure success.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, staying flexible and adaptable to shifting business priorities.
