Role Overview :
This Engineering role will regularly be involved in ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) and TSMO related projects (plan review, site visits, construction meetings, etc) and will be part of the Traffic Management team. The candidate will be reviewing plans, aiding in the development of operational processes, and a part of the implementation of TSMO strategies (including but not limited to Managed Lanes, Traveler Information, Variable Speed Limits, and Ramp Metering). This role will periodically go to field sites and work alongside ITS Technicians and other field staff.
Candidates need to be able to adjust and thrive in new and changing environments and modify strategies when faced with obstacles. The candidate needs to be able to break down complex ideas, draw meaningful conclusions from data, and evaluate different solutions to a problem. The candidate will also need to be able to take initiative on projects, work independently without constant supervision, and take proactive steps to achieve goals.

Salary Statement :
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $75,010.00, but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
