Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Inside Sales Specialist:

  • Engage with existing customers to introduce products and service contract offerings
  • Identify and prospect new customer opportunities and leads
  • Drive new business sales and service contract renewals through email outreach and outbound calling
  • Communicate with key decision-makers to promote product sales and secure service contracts
  • Assess customers' existing equipment and warranty terms to recommend appropriate solutions
  • Provide customers with formal service quotes and agreements
  • Conduct follow-up calls and emails to gather feedback and address any concerns
  • Actively listen to customer needs, identify opportunities for contract renewals, multi-year upgrades, and relevant product add-ons
  • Develop tailored solutions that align with business goals based on customer discussions

Required Skills for Inside Sales Specialist:

  • Strong customer service skills, confident and self-starter
  • Excellent time-management experience, results-oriented
  • Ability to cultivate positive client relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle
  • 2+ years inside sales, direct sales, customer service or telemarketing experience, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industries
  • AA/BS/BA or equivalent practical experience
  • Prior subscription/service contract selling experience is preferred
