Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems.
  • Handle employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and supporting management with disciplinary actions.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), COBRA, and workers’ compensation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as internal policies and procedures.
  • Work with operations and leadership teams on workforce planning, performance management, and reducing employee turnover.
  • Coordinate health, safety, and training programs to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Assist in updating and enforcing company policies, employee handbook, and workplace standards.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
  • Represent the organization during audits, inspections, and workers’ compensation cases when needed.
  • Perform other HR-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally in manufacturing, industrial, or similar settings.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations (EEO, FMLA, OSHA, ADA, etc.).
  • Experience with benefits administration, workers’ compensation, and safety programs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems preferred.
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
