POSTION OVERVIEW

Lively X’s mission is to create a women-exclusive space where confidence, strength, and community come first. Our programs are designed by women for women to help women build confidence, consistency and real results in a supportive and uplifting environment. We’re located in downtown Palo Alto. We offer group exercise classes in pilates, HIIT and strength training. We also offer personal training and nutrition coaching services. We are looking for an instructor that is passionate about fitness and love leading high-energy group workouts

Responsibilities

• Program and teach a safe and fun group fitness
• Demonstrate proper technique and modified for different levels
• Set up class 20 min prior to class start time, including class playlist
• Implement proper warm up and cool down for all classes
• Schedule own substitutes and replacements in advance as needed
• Adhere to studio policies and procedures
• Assist in promotions, external events, and marketing photo shoots
• Obtaining liability insurance and showing proof of insurance before any personal training appointments, if applicable.

Qualifications

• Certified Group Fitness Instructor (ACE, NASM, AFAA, or equivalent)
• 1-5 years experience leading group workouts in pilates, HIIT, dance or strength training
• If applicable, Personal Trainer Certification through a nationally accredited organization (NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA, NSCA, or equivalent)
• Strong communication, motivational and organizational skills
• Maintains a desire for continual improvement
• An outgoing, friendly personality, and a desire to meet new people
• Available to work mornings, weekends or nights
