Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload furniture from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling and protection.
• Deliver furniture to customer homes according to scheduled routes.
• Assemble furniture as needed, following assembly instructions accurately.
• Inspect furniture for any damage prior to delivery and upon customer receipt.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any delivery-related issues professionally and courteously.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery truck.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed, such as loading and unloading incoming inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving commercial vehicles (preferred).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Ability to read and understand assembly instructions.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of heavy furniture.
• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Working in various weather conditions.
