NTS is Searching for an Fighter Aircraft Heavy Maintenance Scheduler (Direct Hire Opportunity) in Mesa, AZ.

Job Summary:

The Heavy Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of major maintenance events for Company owned aircraft, such structural inspections and repairs, overhauls, and modifications. This includes developing long-range maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, minimizing aircraft downtime, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all maintenance events are executed efficiently and on schedule. Additionally, the Heavy Maintenance Scheduler supports cost control by proactively planning and coordinating maintenance to provide accurate data for budgeting and financial analysis. Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Military aviation work experience desired.
• Minimum 5 years of technical experience with auditing F-16 or other fighter aircraft and equipment records, highly desired.
• 5 years of experience in the entry, retrieval and management of aircraft maintenance records preferred.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration regulations.
• Proven track record of success working on complex assignments requiring considerable judgment, initiative and technical/specialized knowledge.
• Proficient in the use of automated data retrieval systems and spreadsheets for the management of maintenance activities.
• Proficient in the preparation of Fleet Management reports.
• Excellent written and oral presentation of aircraft maintenance and configuration information.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while fostering a positive attitude.
• Must have strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must demonstrate safe and healthy workplace practices.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to travel within the US and internationally.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities of an Heavy Maintenance Scheduler in daily work performance.
• Must be able to work in various weather environments and conditions.
• Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and not be barred from any installation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
