Social Media Manager (Start Up Social Media App)

The Venue platform is a digital social platform under development creating a new paradigm for all commercial communities which involves physical interaction. Examples of such communities include malls, stadiums, resorts, amusement parks, exhibition events, festivals, compounds, etc. We aim to provide owners, operators, and managers with tools to engage in real-time interaction with visitors, who are provided with better-engaged experience with targeted real-time information and offerings. The goal is to increase visitor engagement, satisfaction, and transaction outcomes.

We are looking for a creative, self-starting Social Media Manager to build our online presence from scratch and grow a loyal community that’s excited to use the platform.

This role is perfect for someone who’s excited about startup energy, digital storytelling, and building organic buzz — someone who doesn’t just "post," but crafts a strategy.

Job Description

We’re not looking for someone to maintain existing platforms — because we don’t have any (yet!). This role is for someone who can:

  • Strategically set up and manage our social media presence from scratch
  • Develop and execute an organic growth strategy to build an audience
  • Create compelling content that reflects our brand and values
  • Engage with followers to build community and trust

What You Will Do

  • performance, run A/B tests, and pivot strategies based on data and engagement.Be th
  • e voice of the brand, sparking conversations and building community in a fun, relatable way.
  • We’re Looking For Someone Who

    • Has experience building a social presence for brands (especially early-stage or new products).
    • Is confident with content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.).
    • Has a network of micro- or mid-tier influencers , or knows how to find and engage them.
    • Has experience (or strong ideas) around campus/community marketing .
    • Understands how to create content that drives conversions (follows, signups, app downloads).
    • Thrives in fast-moving, “figure-it-out-as-you-go” environments.
    • Loves social media and is up to date on what’s trending, what’s flopping, and what’s viral.

    What Success Looks Like

    • Active and growing social media presence within the first 1–3 months
    • Community engagement and brand buzz before we even launch
    • Followers converting into real app sign-ups and testers

    • Have worked in startups or social apps before.
    • Have grown a personal or brand account to 100k+ followers organically.
    • Are a creator yourself — you live and breathe content.

    Compensation

    0.25% - 0.5% of Newco. Subsequent to funding a full-time role with cash compensation would be possible.
