Job Description

Entry Procurement Specialist Location Orlando, FL :
  • Performs project and/or indirect procurement of goods and services of basic to intermediate complexity, as directed by project management.
  • Negotiates subcontracts, blanket purchase agreements or filling purchase orders. Ensures that all procurement is in compliance with government regulations, contractual terms (if applicable), company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures subcontractors and vendors adhere to negotiated procurement contracts.
  • Performs vendor lifecycle management.
  • Performs vendor onboarding, obtains and reviews required vendor credentials. Manages vendor's ongoing compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as well as other contractual requirements.
  • Terminates vendor in vendor management system, upon termination of vendor relationship.
  • Confers with appropriate staff on issues relating to subcontracts performance vendor delivery, approval and payment of vendor invoices.
  • Assists project management staff in the planning for required procurement support in proposals and contracts.
  • Minimum Qualifications

    Associate's degree. 0 -1 year(s) related experience. Equivalent additional related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

    Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with varying levels of staff, as well as subcontractors and vendors. Ability to oversee multiple projects and comply with internally imposed deadlines.
