The Ford Agency has an exciting Volunteer Engagement opportunity working with a Virginia based, community support non-profit. This role is focused on developing and enriching a strong corporate and community volunteer base for several ongoing events. This is a great role for an individual who has a year of experience creating volunteer training programs and conducting a broad scope of outreach and is looking to work with a mission driven organization committed to community support.

Responsibilities Include:

• Engage with community members and corporations to develop volunteer engagement
• Assess volunteer needs based on programming and establish training modules
• Maintain volunteer event scheduling and outreach
• Assist with strategic program planning and volunteer initiatives

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's Degree and 1+ years of volunteer engagement experience
• Proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Resourcefulness, ability to work independently, and think creatively

Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
