Job Description

Role Overview:

The Director of Finance will provide leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting team. This role will be pivotal in shaping the financial strategy of the company, offering strategic recommendations to the CEO and the executive management team. The Director of Finance will manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, while advising on long-term business and financial planning. The position also focuses on strategic M&A analysis, due diligence, and transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and direction for the finance and accounting team. Build a collaborative, high-performing work environment.
  • Strategic Recommendations and Analysis: Offer clear strategic advice to the CEO and executive team. Support decision-making with insights and guide company growth, including strategic M&A analysis.
  • Financial Forecasting, Budgeting, and Reporting: Manage forecasting and budgeting processes. Ensure financial reports are prepared accurately and on time.
  • Long-term Business Planning: Advise on long-term financial and business planning. Develop strategies to boost the company’s financial health and support sustainable growth.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management, external partners, and stakeholders. Ensure clear communication and foster trust.
  • Financial Procedures and Compliance: Review and update finance-related procedures. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • M&A Analysis and Transaction Support: Lead strategic M&A analysis, manage due diligence processes, and support transaction execution and integration efforts.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role.
  • Proven experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong leadership in finance and accounting operations.
  • Experience in sell-side investment banking or strategic M&A analysis.
  • Solid analytical, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior management and external partners.
  • In-depth knowledge of finance-related regulations and procedures.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $120,000-170,000 per year
