Location- New York, NY- HYBRID

Salary- $90,000

A women’s Lifestyle/Streetwear/Surf brand is looking for a Designer to join our dynamic team. Ideal candidates will have experience designing women’s streetwear, surf, and lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design a cohesive collection of a lifestyle/streetwear/surf apparel brand
• Experience designing for with Clubs, Department Stores, off price, TJX, and all tiers of distribution.
• Create concept decks for a seasonal lifestyle collection from initial concept through development.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at the same time
• Work closely with cross functional team to develop and execute market strategies for each season
• Coordinate with sales team designing trends for customer needs.
• Develop and implement design strategies
• Partner with retailers and execute key brand strategy and initiatives
• Collaborate with merchandising team creating product assortment adhering to a calendar.

Skills:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in design, preferably in the streetwear/urban community
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at the same time
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to execute ideas from concept to final product
• Strong attention to detail and ability to incorporate trends into product designs
• Passion for design and innovation
• Bachelors in design or a related field
