Job Description

R.C. Moore, Inc., a leading 3PL company involved in Trucking, Warehousing and Brokerage, is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team at our Tampa location. Established in 1956, we became 100% employee-owned (ESOP)in 2022. We provide a national third-party logistics network to support our various food and beverage providers, and we are passionate about delivering exceptional and timely service to all customers. We are a growing company in search of team players with professional qualities to help us drive service excellence and add their own unique value to our business!

This position is full-time and may require working a rotating weekend schedule if necessary.

As a CSR, you will be a part of our Distribution Center team and will help provide the Warehouse with administrative support. You will also be the liaison between the DC and outside parties such as receivers, shippers, and DC clientele.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

  • Verify that all orders for the current day and future dates are covered and on track for an on-time performance.
  • Communicate with customer through emails to assist with their concerns, advise them of any discrepancies or anticipated issues, and provide them with a helpful solution.
  • Coordinate with fellow CSRs to ensure that all customer loads are correctly and accurately scheduled into our system promptly.
  • Assist in training new CSRs by providing them with time management development skills to ensure completion of all daily duties.
  • Advise new CSRs of their progress and provide feedback as needed.
  • Assist the Accounting Department with requests they need regarding billing information.
  • Assist Management with implementing any new changes to our working procedures.
  • Advise Management of any current or potential issues and assist with finding solutions.
  • Coordinate and assist with personnel in our other terminals as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience, preferably in the transportation industry.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge and skills, with the ability to advance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Energetic, self-motivated, team player
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
