Job Description

Our client in Benton is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service / Counter Sales associate to join their team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, supporting daily store operations, and assisting customers with product and service needs.

Job Responsibilities:

· Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner, both in person and over the phone.

· Answer customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.

· Determine customer needs for tires, products, or service repairs and provide accurate quotes.

· Schedule service work based on customer convenience and shop availability.

· Open and close the store, including securing the building and making daily bank deposits.

· Maintain a clean and organized showroom, customer lounge, and restroom areas.

· Ensure a safe and tidy work environment on the shop floor.

· Arrange and update tire and merchandise displays, including outdoor signage and message boards.

· Receive, inventory, and organize tire shipments by size and type.

· Handle cash and card transactions accurately and process customer payments.

· Occasionally utilize customer vehicles for short test drives to verify service completion.

· Perform other related duties as assigned to support store operations.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Previous retail, customer service, or counter sales experience preferred.

· Basic understanding of automotive products or services is a plus.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to handle cash transactions and maintain accuracy in recordkeeping.

· Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented.

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying responsibilities.

· Must maintain a clean, well-groomed, and professional appearance.

· Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
