About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated BIM Manager to join our architectural and design team in Mobile, Alabama . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, architectural production, and Revit-based Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows. This role will oversee the implementation, coordination, and optimization of BIM standards and technology across multiple projects, ensuring efficiency, quality, and innovation in design and documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of BIM standards, templates, and workflows across all projects.
  • Manage BIM production for architectural projects from schematic design through construction documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to coordinate BIM models and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams on BIM and Revit best practices.
  • Oversee BIM project setup, model management, and coordination between disciplines.
  • Conduct quality control reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with firm and client standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and software updates to continuously improve BIM processes.
  • Support the integration of BIM with project management and design delivery tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of project management and production experience within an architectural or design firm.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and demonstrated experience managing BIM projects.
  • Solid understanding of architectural design, documentation, and construction processes .
  • Proven ability to lead project teams and coordinate across multiple disciplines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to train and support team members in BIM processes and software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Professional architectural licensure (preferred but not required).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with additional BIM-related tools (e.g., Navisworks, Dynamo, Enscape, Bluebeam).
  • Familiarity with cloud collaboration platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360.
  • Understanding of clash detection and coordination processes.
