Our client, a home manufacturing company, is seeking a talented Bedding Designer to join their creative team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong eye for design, solid technical abilities, and experience developing artwork from concept through production.
The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of experience, with a background in flat prints, wovens, and embroidery layouts. This role is hands-on, collaborative, and offers the opportunity to directly impact product development.
Responsibilities
• Create production-ready and presentation-ready artwork across prints, wovens, and fabric manipulations, from initial concept through final production
• Translate trends, market inspiration, and design requests into high-quality, commercially viable artwork
• Prepare and send detailed design tech packs to overseas partners
• Partner closely with Sourcing and Merchandising to ensure alignment with brand and customer design direction
• Stay current with trends through creative research and competitive shopping
• Make confident design decisions and propose creative solutions when challenges arise
• Design and set up the showroom twice annually for market presentations
• Work efficiently and creatively on a PC-based design system
Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of experience in textile design
• Strong experience in flat prints, wovens, and embroidery layouts (required)
• Technical skills related to creating and sending design sketches for overseas production teams
• Home textiles experience is a plus
• Strong aesthetic sensibility, trend awareness, and decision-making ability
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
