Job Title: Member Services Representative – Teller & Business Development (Contract)

Addison Group is partnering with a reputable financial institution to hire a Member Services Representative for a contract role in Washington, DC. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong customer service skills, cash handling experience, and a passion for sales and relationship-building.

Job Description:

This in-office role is a blend of teller services and outbound member engagement. The representative will support daily banking transactions, assist with account services, and promote financial products and services through proactive outreach. The position also provides administrative support to the internal training department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, account openings, and loan applications
  • Provide excellent customer support via phone, email, and in person
  • Educate members on financial products and identify opportunities for cross-selling
  • Make outbound calls to promote financial solutions and support business development initiatives
  • Assist with onboarding and scheduling through the Learning Management System
  • Maintain accurate records and follow compliance and security protocols
  • Troubleshoot member account issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Balance cash drawer and branch totals daily

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of sales or customer service experience, including cash handling
  • Comfortable with outbound calling and overcoming objections
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based tools
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs. and work seated with a headset for extended periods
  • Must pass a background and credit check

Additional Details:

  • Contract Length: 4 months with potential for extension
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time hours (must be available for every day of training)
  • Environment: 100% on-site; no remote or hybrid flexibility
