Assistant Plant Manager - Steel Fabrication

Location : Lima, OH

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000 (+10% Bonus)

Core Function

Assist the Plant Manager in overseeing operations, optimizing processes, and ensuring the plant runs efficiently and safely. You’ll drive improvements in productivity, cost efficiency, and overall performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve safety, compliance, and production efficiency, ensuring OSHA and company policy adherence.
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning to maximize ROI.
• Drive continuous improvement and enhance workflow efficiency.
• Foster a strong team environment and hold employees accountable.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors to ensure equipment meets production demands.

Requirements

• 2-4 years in manufacturing management (preferably in steel fabrication).
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality control, and regulatory standards.
• Experience leading multiple production lines and managing high-growth environments.
• Strategic problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate high-performing teams while ensuring accountability.
